Montessori Infant Program

At Montessori Childcare Academy in Calgary, our Infant Program is thoughtfully designed to nurture your baby’s early development in a safe, warm, and engaging environment

Montessori Infant Program (2 Months – 18 Months)

From 2 months to 18 months, your child will be surrounded by caring educators and stimulating materials that support growth during these critical first stages.

Our Infant Montessori Program emphasizes:

  • Responsive Caregiving
Building strong emotional bonds and trust through attentive, loving care.

  • Individualized Learning
Tailoring activities to support each child’s unique developmental timeline.

  • Sensory Exploration
Stimulating the senses through safe, hands-on activities that spark curiosity.

  • Motor Skill Development
Encouraging crawling, standing, and walking with purposeful movement-based learning.

  • Language Enrichment
Supporting early language development through constant verbal interaction and songs.

  • Independence & Confidence
Guiding infants in simple self-help tasks to build a sense of autonomy.

  • Safe, Stimulating Environment
A clean, secure, and thoughtfully designed space to promote discovery and learning.

We believe that even the youngest learners deserve a space where they are respected, nurtured, and inspired. Our infant program fosters a deep sense of security and independence-key pillars in the Montessori approach.

As your child grows, they’ll smoothly transition into our Montessori Toddler Program, where they’ll begin exploring the full Montessori Curriculum in a way that builds on the strong foundation established in our Infant room.

The greatness of the human personality begins at the hour of birth.
